Free Training at the Nadcap Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA

eQuaLearn will offer free training sessions at the Pittsburgh, PA Nadcap meeting Monday, October 24^th through Thursday, October 27, 2016. The following courses are available for registration (Click here) – seats are based on a first-come, first-served basis. Nadcap Audit Preparation – October 24^th, 1:00pm-4:00pm Designed to provide a complete overview of Nadcap requirements related to the audit. Basic Heat Treatment – October 24^th, 1:00pm-4:00pm Created to introduce some of the fundamental issues related to Heat Treatment Processes carried out on a wide range of metals and alloys. Contract Review – October 25^th, 9:00am-12:00pm Contract Review is a multi-disciplinary process which should ensure that all potential problems are identified and addressed before any commitment to supply is made. This course describes what must be done. The requirements are explained and illustrated by discussions around common problems and weaknesses. Root Cause Corrective Action Nadcap Style – October 25^th, 1:00pm-4:00pm Designed to provide a clear understanding of the basic concepts of Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and application of how to apply those concepts to eliminate errors and defects. This training also provides a basic understanding of the requirements needed to respond to a Nadcap audit non-conformance (NCR). Nadcap Checklist Review- Heat Treating – October 25^th, 8:00am-5:00pm Offered to provide a complete overview of Nadcap requirements related to the Heat Treating audit. Introduction to PRI/Nadcap – October 26^th, 1:00pm-4:00pm Developed to assist suppliers in preparation efforts for initial Nadcap audits. This training targets suppliers who have scheduled a new audit, an audit in a new special process/product, or for companies who have new Nadcap contracts. AS9100 – October 27^th, 8:00am-5:00pm Designed to provide a comprehensive review of 9100 and demonstrates how compliance leads to continual improvements.
