eQualified Aligns Bodies of Knowledge to SAE AMS Industry Standards

Aerospace industry experts from companies including Collins Aerospace, GE Aviation, Honeywell, Rolls-Royce and Solar Atmospheres have worked together to update all of the eQualified special process Bodies of Knowledge (BoKs) Following revisions to SAE AMS 2759 and SAE AMS 2488, the Heat Treating Carbon Alloy Steel and Stainless/PH Steel BoKs along with the Anodizing BoKs have been updated. All eQualified Bodies of Knowledge remain free to download via the PRI website at https://p-r-i.org/pri-qualification/bodies-of-knowledge/ “eQualified Bodies of Knowledge are excellent resources which are helping the global aerospace special process workforce achieve adequate standards of competency at all levels. Keeping our BoKs current and accurate is crucial and represents a significant benefit to the entire industry. New Bodies of Knowledge in four special process areas are currently being developed: Conversion/Phosphate Coatings in the field of Chemical Processing, Electron Beam Welding, Metal Bond Repair for Composite Repair, and Torch Braze. It is anticipated they will all be publicly available on the eQualified BoKs webpage by the end of 2019.
